Chippewa Cree Tribe Receives $2.0 MIllion from HUD Rural Innovation Grant

The Department of Housing and Urban Development announced on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 that the Chippewa Cree Tribe has been awarded a $2,000,000 grant through the Rural Innovation Fund (RIF). The Rural Innovation Fund was included in President Obama's Fiscal Year 2010 budget request adn was enacted by Congress with the 2010 Consolidated Appropriations Act.
